[1. The Satellites!]

Here's how it works:

1. The Satellites!

• Depending on the number of participants, there will be satellite tournaments leading up to the main event.
• These will begin October 10th.
• No more than 2000 participants will be entered into a satellite. 
• You will have to locate your assigned tournament in the Absolute Poker lobby and register for the tournament prior to the start of the tourney.
• You will be randomly assigned to a satellite on a first come first served basics. 
• You will be emailed as to what day your satellite is being held one week prior to the satellite. 
• Regular Absolute Poker tournament rules and regulations apply. For full tournament rules and regulations click here .
• The top people in each satellite will qualify for the main event.
• This will be calculated by the top 20% of each satellite tournament divided equally. Say there are two satellites with 2000 people in each. The top 400 from satellite #1 & #2 will advance to the main event.

2. The Main Event!

• Will be held October 15th.
• No more than 2000 participants will be playing for the top 9 prizes.
• You will randomly be assigned to a table.
• Regular Absolute Poker tournament rules and regulations apply. For full tournament rules and regulations click here .
• The tournament champion will be awarded the first place prize consisting of their Fall semesters tuition paid for by Absolute Poker. 
• The 2nd through 9th place finishers will receive prizes as outlined in the prize list.
