I usually try and raise enough that I only get one caller. I sometimes will limp in from early position if their is a lot of raising going on, then I can re-raise with them. But if I don't get my re-raise and a lot of people see the flop you have to get rid of them if there is a lot of action going on. If your going to slow play them, you can't get married to them.
yeah i would agree. It is important to get them out as soon as possible, but at the same time you need to extract as much value as possible. ahhh a tough game
There are occassions I will slow play them in early position if the table is real tight but normally I pound away with them. My philosophy is that AA is a great hand buy becomes rather normal if 4+ people see the flop.
I try to narrow the field and take what I can get.

I try the same thing. You don't want more than one opponent in the hand, so I try to raise until there is only one left. Every once in a while if I get them, I even try slow-play.
