Last night I was playing in a home game tournament and one of the regulars brought a guy over that I had never met before to join the game.

I've seen this type of player before, so it's just not him, but this really bothers me.

They can't lay down a hand without starring  down their opponet and telling them that their bluffing.  He litterally did this every single time he faced a bet and was going to fold. I know the guy betting probably does have something and this new guy more than likely doesn't have squat everytime he does this.  I just wanted that guy to call once and find out for himself.

Another thing that kind of bothers me online.  The mini raisers pre flop when the blinds are at the lowest level, especially when they do it from the blinds and gives everybody a chance to re raise.

These are the same people that after the flop they'll lead out a $20 bet, get re-raised to $300, then on the turn they'll bet out $20 again, get re-raised again and fold.  Did you not notice that their opponet is now playing for $300 a bet?  There is now $900 in the pot and your measly $20 bet isn't going to buy the pot.

Here's just a few that kind of get on my nerves, I'd like to here some of your's, becuase I'd imagine once I've heard your guy's pet peeves they'll probably bother me too.

I totally agree with those! I really can't stand people that re-raise on the blinds and then make me have to commit more $ to the pot when I am half limping in to try and catch someone.

One of my biggestest peeves is the guys that watch me playing at a table, see my take down a large pot, and then ask to borrow $3. They 'promise' they will give it back and that they will make $20 out of it. etc etc... They amuse me but annoy me as well at the same time.

Mine was last night at our weekly tournament.  New guy.  EVERY time it was his turn to act, whether it was to play or for blinds, you had to tell him what to do and how much it was.

He was a nice enough guy but boy that got irritating!

No exaggeration...EVERY TIME!  and we had 11 players so it was 5 at one table and 6 at ours....Lots a times to have to remind someone.

Lol, next time just print out a guide for him and he can just look at it as he goes. OR give him a pen and paper and tell him to write it down.

High Card, One Pair, and then 2 pair, and thennnnnn 3 of a kind...

Common buddy you can get this!

My biggest pet peeve is people who trash talk in poker. It drives me crazy, and actually throws my game off, because I want to beat them so badly. Problem with poker is, you can't really choose your opponents, so I tend to mute a person as soon as I see they are a trash talker, that way they won't throw me off.

I had a guy crack my AA with ATs when he hit a gutshot on the river.  He started talking smack in the online chat window.

I don't know if he was trying to throw me off my game or what.  I just started making fun of him and calling him a donkey.  I was telling him if he's that proud of his play he really shows how he has no clue.

It was kind of funny because other people at the table started to back me up in the chat and the guy just shut up.

I've tried doing that before, but it just seems to make me play worse, so I just mute them and concentrate on my game. Thing is, in live games I can totally deal with the mouthy players, but online they just seem to get to me, so I have to mute them.

Missed the flop, he was probably just trying to get under your skin.

Best is to ignore them i guess. everyone spots him as being weak and take him out quickly after something like that.

okay.. I don't generally tilt over a bad beat.. There is an inside joke here that I say to myself.. it makes me giggle and I'm okay.. But I'll tell ya what does piss me off...

You make it all the way to the show down.. big bets all the way down the line.. The guy beats you on the river.. maybe you had Kq and caught the Q with no other big cards on the table.. either way, you TRIED to bet him out, by the river your wondering if he's slow playing 2 pair..

Then you see this idiots hand.. he caught the ace on the river.. since you didn't have an ace.. his 4 kicker is now good (Anyone else with a lonely ace obviously folded long ago Tongue)

Okay well it happens, and he's an idiot, so reassure yourself with the fact that your cash is NOT in good hands, and should be fairly easy to retrive..

And then..

Some idiot says "nice hand" thats when I want to throw something, and shake someone WTF do you mean "Nice Hand"

GRRRRRRRRR I HATE THAT!
