What do you guys think of this?  I havn't made up my mind yet and was wanting to get some opinions.

I don't play at poker room but if this catches on there I'd imagine the other sites will fallow.

Very interesting idea. I personally dont really like pokerroom, but if some of the other bigger rooms picked up this concept as well I think me and my friends would definately participate. Seems like fun.

It is very 'clan-like', as you would get in most other online games.

I think it follows the model of what the hendon mob have established. It would feel really good if you and your team were consistant and kept on winning. I think I will talk to my buddies and try and setup a team!

This idea reminds me of the good old days of online gaming, such as Soldier of fortune, doom, blahblah.... It is a good idea to get this.  Seems like a lot of work for the poker room, which to me shows commitment to the players.

Thats a great idea, but it shure must be alot of work to implement it into the software.

Well I put a team together and have played Team Poker at Poker Room for two weeks not.

The first week was a blast.  18 teams signed up for the event my team was involved with and my team took 4th place.

Week two sucked becasue the tournament I signed my team up for only 2 other teams signed up for the same tournament.  One of the other teams musn't have like it either because they only participated one night and the rest of the week was basically heads up matches between my team and the other team.

Interesting, Poker room just gave me free $$ to come back and play with them.  May have to try this Team concept out.
